Dear Sir, On 7th May, 1940 a half-caste child Lena (Lena Barr) daughter of Winnyin @ Maudie, was removed from your Station and placed in the Moore River Native Settlement. It is now proposed to baptise Lena in the Anglican Faith and I would appreciate your advising me if Maudie has any objection to this action. Yours faithfully, COMMISSIONER OF NATIVE AFFAIRS. Dear Sir, The boy Bill, who was removed to Perth Hospital on 23.12.39 for treatment to his knee, is now in the Moore River Native Settlement and it is proposed to have him baptised in the Anglican Faith. This information could be obtained from Bill's parents if they are still resident on your Station.
